1950s. The life of William Lee, a middle-aged man leading a miserable existence in South America, changes after meeting the student Eugene Allerton. The film \"Queer\" depicts the story of Burroughs, a romantic intriguer who tries his best to restore his relationship with Eugene, played by Drew Stark in owl glasses. Lee first notices him at a street party among a crowd watching a cockfight. For Lee, it was one of those moments when you fall in love at first sight. He was so deeply struck, as if he had seen God Himself.
